A new phone
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, I swore I would never buy a cellphone. This self made promise went the way of all such promises. In 2002 I got mobile. Got a connection from Dialog and a Nokia 3310. This phone (while it was out dated even for its time) was arguably one of the best phones that I ever had. It was robust, had a very tactile keypad, and was generally great for a guy like me. I treated it terribly but it kept going.
Later I got a 3120. I never got into a real "relationship" with that phone, mainly because it was almost forced on me. Its a long story, but it was still a good phone. This one worked for the nec two years. Then I got my latest acquisition.
One of the dividends of the school project that TLC is involved in is that we actually have some money coming in that we can spend on non-essential necessities like digital cameras and (for me) a web-enabled cellphone. So I get a Nokia 6230 second hand from a lovely young lady of my acquaintance. And I must admit that I love it. It has most of the tools I need, and most everything else I can get off the net
I need a few more attachments to it, but this will let me attach pictures to this blog and do other wierdness with it too.
