dotesgee - day 2

The first day of the AOSS Master Trainer Program. Twenty three people from 14 countries, and YT is the only srinkie in the house. The sessions are being held at Singapore Metropolitan University (SMU), one of the newest universities in dotesgee. I found it amazing that a city-state of 4 million people (and 660 square km) has three universities and are not averse to building more. Compare that to the attitude here dotelkay.

Crawled out of bed with my brain screaming for more sleep, had breakfast, hit a 7Eleven and bought some isotonic drinks and some Shark+ (which is like Redbull but cheaper and has more taurine). I need the boost because dotesgee doesn't have any Mountain Dew which doth suck mightily.

The things went well, there were some very interesting people, most of whom had met in other seminars. Makes me wonder why there were so few people from dotelkay who actually knew that such seminars were happening. and even if they came here, how come they are not using that knowlege for the betterment of the country?

At the end of the day we went for a seafood dinner at some place where they served the dinner in frying pans. It was a good meal and it is entirely possible that I over-ate. A walk back to the hotel later, with me trying to convince people that they should be going out looking for trouble. These guys are no fun at all.

I also met some of the japanese guys who organised the event, and had a conversation with them about anime and j-pop. I am SUCH the otakun. More later
